HANDEL LEADED TABLE LAMP. Nice leaded shade has amber honeycomb pattern in the upper portion of the shade with a wide leaded border of red flowers against stylized green leaves. While the shade looks to be in the manner of Unique, it is signed “Handel”. Shade rests atop an urn shaped Handel base with brown patina. Base is signed on the side of the foot with impressed block letters “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 20-1/4″ dia. Lamp is 28″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with only a few tight hairlines. Base has a small crack near the shoulder of the urn and another near the foot. They appear to be from the casting. The riser has been modified with nothing more than a threaded rod to lengthen the base to better accommodate the shade. No heat cap present. 5-68192 (800-1,200)
