*ITHACA CUSTOM DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 459692. Flues model dbl with 26″ bbls having a tapered matted rib, dbl beads, and Greener style rib extension with single lug. The receiver is very deeply, custom engraved with full coverage foliate arabesque patterns with stippled background and a raised gold quail on the bottom. The engraving extends 2-3/4″ over the chamber areas of the bbls. It is fitted with single selective trigger, ejectors and very nicely figured custom American walnut wood having a beavertail forearm with black tip insert and straight stock with heel and toe plates engraved to match. Both forearm and buttstock are beautifully checkered in fleur-de-lis and ribbon patterns with checkered side panels. LOP 14-5/16″. Drop at the heel 2-13/16″, drop at the comb 1-9/16″. Bbl restriction: right .006, left .006. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains virtually all of its brilliant custom finish to both metal and wood with strong brilliant case colors on the receiver, opening lever, trigger guard and the heel & toe plates. Safety does not appear to hold on SAFE, otherwise mechanics are crisp with bright shiny bores. 4-54015 JR8 (2,000-3,000)
