PAIR OF TWIN PAPIER MACHE DOLLS. Papier mache molded shoulder head dolls with molded and painted features; one with brown eyes and the other with blue on so-called “milliner’s model” type bodies made with firm leather and narrow waist with wooden arms and legs with painted shoes. Both wear what appears to be original costumes with off the shoulder blouses, original undergarments made of cheesecloth and one still retaining original green cheesecloth skirt with black velvet ribbon trim. SIZE: Each are 19-1/2″ (50cm). CONDITION: Very good to good; typical crazing and paint loss in spots on heads. One of the green shoes has significant chip. 1-11262 (600-1,000)
