X 25-20. 26” Barrels have full length matted rib, w/ dolls head extension, and folding 2 position rear, and longitudinally dovetailed silver bead front sights. Top bbl is engraved “Von Lengerke & Detmold Inc.” on right side, and “New York, N. Y. U. S. Agents” on left, w/ nitro proof. Bottom bbl is stamped “Krupp – Laufstahl”, SN “33438”, as well as, “Germany” and “20-2-3/4” and “25-20” on breech area. Case hardened trigger plate action has dual under lugs and dolls head fastener, and is engraved w/ line borders, simple scroll, and “Greifelt & Co Suhl” on bottom. Blued trigger guard has scroll on bow, and SN on grip. Broadly streaked semi pistol grip European walnut buttstock measures 14-3/8” over ribbed horn butt plate w/ 26 LPI checkering w/ line border. Three piece forend has Deeley latch, and is checkered to match buttstock. Top Barrel : Left .625 w/ Bore restrictions: .013. Wall thickness: .023. Drop at heel: 2-1/2”. Drop at comb is 1-3/8”. Weight: 5 lbs. 9oz. PROVENANCE: Dr. Frank Miller Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain virtually all orig blue w/ few scratches, and ding on right side of top rib near action. Action retains 95% orig case color and lacquer w/ some silver spots mostly on right bottom. Stocks retain virtually all orig finish w/ few light scratches from handling.
