TIFFANY STUDIOS DAFFODIL TABLE LAMP. Rare domical leaded shade is decorated with an allover daffodil pattern. The floral blooms have heavily mottled petals in warm yellow. There are also textured pieces of glass in the same flowers which give the blossoms a three dimensional appearance. Blossoms are backed by extremely long stems of variegated green glass. While an even softer green glass with white and blue striations depict the background. Shade is supported by a single socket three armed bronze base with a vertically ribbed inverted saucer foot. Lamp carries a desirable brown patina finish with hints of green. Lamp is finished with a rolled under pierced cap with matching patina finish. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 142-13”. It is widely believed that when Tiffany Studios used a dash number, they felt that the shade was of exceptional color and quality. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 25871″ as well as the Tiffany Glass & Decorating logo. SIZE: Shade is 14″ dia. Lamp is 19” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with very few, if any tight hairlines in the shade. 5-62223 (26,000-30,000)
