Her thick wavy hair parted in the center and swept up beneath a massive Corinthian helmet with finely engraved crest, her pupils dotted and irises incised. Mounted on a square plinth. SIZE: 4-1/2″ h; overall 5-3/4″ h. PROVENANCE: Private collection of Dr. & Mrs. Winfield Gibbs, Sunbury, PA. Purchased from Sothebys Antiquities and Islamic Art, New York 6/15/88, Lot 261.
