CHRISTIAN HACKER DOLLS’ HOUSE WITH ELEVATOR. This great house is cream colored with blue trim and opens in two sections from the front with a double door entrance, balcony, double windows with hand painted blue line decoration with raised quoining on the corners of the house as well as fancy pediments over the windows, original papered roof with large removable dormer. There is an elevator in the center of the house behind closed doors and when opened, a key winds a clockwork mechanism which pulls a small room with a seat up and down. Like most Christian Hacker dolls’ houses, the kitchen has original cupboard and stove unit built in. The interior and exterior is all original; floors and wallpaper as well. SIZE: 31″ t x 31″ w x 17″ d. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Good to very good. There is some staining in the upper right room as well as some wear to the exterior. 1-8608 AM (3,500-5,500)
