JACOT & SONS CYLINDER MUSIC BOX. Ideal Piccolo music box from the second half of the 19th Century is in a carved oak case and plays 11-1/4″ cylinders of which 7 are included (one on machine, 3 in locking drawer beneath, and 3 in extra case). Retains keys to drawer and lid. Single comb mechanism with zither attachment, ivory tags on lid and within box, hand crank, and book of tune cards. SIZE: 30-1/2″ l x 10-1/2″ h x 15″ d. CONDITION: Very good unrestored condition with no broken teeth. Few nicks and general wear, specifically to base, missing lock escutcheon and lid support is partially detached. Tone is very good. Exterior of box exhibits dark patina.
