*CASED CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN COMPANY MODEL 21 DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN W38307. Beautiful Model 21 with 32″ vent rib bbls, flat tapered matted rib with single bead, ejectors, & gold-plated, single selective trigger. Receiver is lightly engraved with foliate arabesque patterns. Top tang has “SAFE” in gold. Mounted with spectacular, exhibition-grade, feather crotch, American walnut with deluxe checkered beavertail forearm with black insert and Monte Carlo pistol grip stock, 14-7/8″ over a thin Decelerator pad. The bbls have been fitted for thin-wall Briley choke tubes. Accompanied by its orig, maroon felt-lined leather casing & salmon-colored canvas cover, compartmented in the bottom for the shotgun, two snap caps, and a square oil bottle, and a total of 8 chokes & a choke wrench. Drop at heel: 1-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 8 lbs. 3.84 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as noted. The bbls retain 96-97% strong bright orig. blue with slight muzzle and chamber edge wear with some light rubs from the forearm. Receiver retains virtually all of its bright, original factory finish with some dulling on the opening lever. Wood is sound with a minor spot or two and retains virtually all of its orig. factory finish. Mechanics are fine, brilliant, shiny bores. Case is equally new. 4-56586 JR642 (9,000-12,000)
