*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 25565. Custom engraved by Arnold Griebel. This lovely shotgun has 30″ bbls choked FULL/FULL with vent rib, dbl beads, ejectors & sgl selective trigger. Receiver, opening lever & forend iron have full coverage extremely fine Arnold Griebel engraving consisting of very tight, well executed, foliate, arabesque scrolls with a deep relief field scene & raised gold flying pheasant on floorplate. Floorplate is also marked “TRAP”. Trigger guard is engraved with an oval containing the raised gold initials “GRG” with a stippled background. Opening lever has a large sunburst on the pivot and diamond & dot patterns down the tang. Receiver, trigger guard & forend iron are French gray finished. It is fitted with orig Winchester Model 21 wood bearing serial number “27821” in both stock & forearm. It has a triple diamond checkered beavertail forearm & straight stock, 14″ over a solid red Winchester pad. Drop at the heel: 2″, drop at the comb: 1-7/16″. Bore restrictions: left – .031, right – .030. Wall thickness: left – .030, right – .025. Bore diameter: left – .695, right – .699. Weight: 8 lbs. 4.16 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains virtually all of its fine professional custom finish to both metal & wood with a few minor nicks & scratches in buttstock with some crazing of finish.
