*DAMAGED PARKER CHE GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 159893. The remains of a fine Parker with No. 2 frame and exploded 32” Acme Steel bbls with buckled & loose, tapered, concave, matted rib with dbl ivory beads, doll’s head rib extension, ejectors & dbl triggers. The explosion which wrecked the bbls also broke the stock through the wrist and cracked the forearm. Receiver is engraved with bird dogs on each side and a standing whitetail buck on bottom, surrounded by about 70% coverage foliate arabesque patterns. It has maker’s name in a ribbon on each side. Accompanied by a Parker Collector’s Association letter fully identifying this shotgun as having been shipped Dec. 21, 1914 to Bob Smith, Boston, Mass. It was ordered by the H. & D. Folsom Arms Co. of New York City. Also accompanied by an estimate of repair from Larry Del Grego & Son. Obviously this shotgun, in its current state, is far beyond shooting, but still has a usable receiver and parts that can be made into a fine restored Parker shotgun.
