COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET MODEL PERCUSSION REVOLVER. Cal. 31. SN 282150. Usual configuration with 4″ bbl, 1-line New-York US America address. It has silver plated brass grip frame and 1-piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Fine, all matching except the rammer lever, which is unnumbered. The bbl retains 30-40% thin original blue with the balance flaked and worn to a light patina. There are several dings on each side. The cylinder is a light gray/brown patina and retains 75-80% stagecoach holdup scene. The frame retains 60-70% thin case colors, stronger on the left side, faded on the front right side. The grip frame is a light brass patina and the grips are outstanding with very little wear on the edges retaining virtually all of their fine original varnish.
