*PARKER TROJAN GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 183601. Built on a No. 2 frame with 28” Trojan Steel bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with tapered, matted, concave rib, with rib extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Mounted with replacement, nicely figured, slab sawed, American walnut with checkered, splinter forearm & semi-pistol grip stock, 14-1/4” over a reproduction Parker deep dog’s head buttplate. Receiver has maker’s name on each side. Bore diameter: left – .736 at about mid-point, right – .734. Bore restrictions: left – .015, right – .005. Wall thickness: left – .029, right – .030. Drop at heel: 2-1/2”, drop at comb: 1-1/2”. Weight: 7 lbs. 4.8 oz. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbls are a light brown, artificially aged patina with a couple of small dings. Receiver & floorplate retain spots of torch applied colors, being mostly a silver/gray patina. Wood is sound with a scrape on right side panel & another on butt with light handling & use marks and retains most of its fine custom finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores that have been honed from chamber end about 8” or 10” with balance of bore light orange peel. Left bore has a deep pit on inside radius at about mid-point.
