*ITHACA CLASSIC DBL MODEL 4E DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 470148. Beautiful modern made little Ithaca with 28″ bbls choked IMP-CYL/CYL, with 3″ chambers. It has tapered raised matted rib with single ivory bead, bbl extension for cross bolt, ejectors and gold-plated dbl triggers. The boxlock receiver is very nicely engraved with vignettes of a flying duck on the left side, a pheasant on the right side and a woodcock on the bottom. The maker’s name & address surround the woodcock vignette and they are all surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns with stippled background. It is fitted with extremely beautiful, very highly figured, tiger striped walnut stock & forearm with carved & checkered splinter forearm that has a black wedge insert. The stock is straight grip with dbl fleur-de-lis carved motif and extensive checkering, 15-3/8″ over a leather-covered pad. Bore restrictions: left – .014, right – .006. Drop at the heel 2-1/4″, drop at the comb 1-1/8″. Weight: 6 lb 3.6 oz. Accompanied by its orig 2-pc cardboard box. CONDITION: As new, may have been fired, but if so, very little. Does not appear used at all. It retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood with brilliant deep case colors. Box is equally new. 4-54396 JR142 (7,000-10,000)
