*KRIEGHOFF K80 COMPETITION SKEET SET. Cal. 12 ga. SN 14957. Spectacular K80 with orig 30″ bbls open, raised ventilated rib with Bradley ivory front bead and silver middle bead. Fitted with thin wall Briley chokes and a complete set of 20 ga., 28 ga. and 410 Kolar sub-caliber tubes all in a fine aluminum Americase. Receiver is coin finished with wonderfully executed Bavaria grade engraving with vignettes of two ducks on the left side of the receiver and two pheasant on the right side, all surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns. The bottom is engraved “SHOTGUNS OF ULM / ULM W.-GERMANY”. It has ejectors and adjustable single selective trigger. It is fitted with extremely beautiful, marble cake, streaky, French walnut with grasping groove, checkered, beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with raised side panels and palm swells, 14-1/2″ over a thick leather covered pad. The case contains the Kolar tubes and a total of nine removable chokes. It also has two choke wrenches, a small plastic hammer and a stock wrench as well as the orig owner’s manual. Drop at the heel 2″, drop at the comb 1-1/4″. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Has been used but in no way abused. Bbls retain 98-99% strong bright orig blue, slightly dulled in front of the forearm on the bottom bbl. Receiver retains virtually all of its orig factory finish. Wood is sound with a few very scattered minor nicks & scratches in the finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. 4-54433 JR567 (7,000-10,000)
