*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 CUSTOM TOURNAMENT GRADE SKEET DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 16 ga. SN 7500. Spectacular dbl that is engraved & inlaid to match a 20 ga. Model 21 being sold elsewhere in this auction. It has 26″ bbls choked WS1/WS2 with tapered concave matted rib with dbl beads, ejectors & sgl selective trigger. Receiver is spectacularly inlaid with an engraved flying quail on left side, a flying woodcock on right side & a flying pheasant on trigger plate. Sides of receiver, trigger guard, upper & lower tangs & opening lever are inlaid with very fine gold wire borders. “TOURNAMENT” is in gold on trigger plate. Fences & top of receiver have foliate gold flourishes. It is mounted with spectacular replacement flame grain, with shell patterns, American walnut with checkered beavertail forearm & straight stock, 13-3/4″ over a solid black Kickeez pad. Also accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying this shotgun as having completed inspection Nov. 28, 1933 made for “Stock”. Engraving is not mentioned. Drop at the heel: 2-3/8″, drop at the comb: 1-7/16″. Bore restrictions: left – .011, right – .006. Wall thickness: left – .030, right – .028. Bore diameter: left – .654, right – .683.
