HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP. Stunning floral pattern painted in vibrant oranges, yellows, pinks and blues with green foliage is set against a midnight black matte finish, which makes for a striking shade. Shade has a lovely tapestry look. Supporting the shade is an Art Nouveau style base with three scrolled legs and a slender stem decorated with acanthus leaves on a stepped platform foot. Base is complete with three sockets, three acorn pulls, pierced top cap and finial. Signed on the inside rim “Handel 7460” and artist initialed “R” as well as being signed in the ring “Handel Lamps Patent No. 979664”. Base is signed on the underside with a Handel Lamps felt label.
