HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED ROSE TABLE LAMP. Painted to the interior of shade are a plethora of roses in hues ranging from deep mauve to pale pink with foliage in shades of blue-green to yellow-green to brown. Roses and foliage, reminiscent of a Victorian painting, are set against an ethereal background of lavender, yellow, and soft green. The shade is supported by a three-columned base of high Art Nouveau styling with patterns in high and low relief. The base carries a chocolate brown patina finish with verde highlights, three sockets, three acorn pulls, pierced top cap, and finial. Shade is signed “Handel 6941M” as well as being signed “Handel Lamps” with patent number on ring. Base is signed with felt label “Handel Lamps”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 22″ t.
