*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 CUSTOM GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 16 ga. SN W28708. Wonderful custom grade “21” with 28″ bbls choked FULL/MOD with tapered concave matted rib & dbl beads. Rib is marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”. It has ejectors & sgl selective trigger. It has flat sided receiver that is lightly engraved in the “CUSTOM PATTERN”. Mounted with spectacular, extremely fine grained, center crotch cut, flame grain American walnut with checkered beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock, 14″ over a thick leather covered pad. Stock is a fine professional replacement, while the forearm is original. Also accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying this shotgun as having been made for Joseph Weitzman with matted rib, completed inspection Nov. 19, 1970. Drop at the heel: 2-3/8″, drop at the comb: 1-1/2″. Bore restrictions: left – .018, right – .009. Wall thickness: left – .045, right – .046. Bore diameter: left – .633, right – .646. Weight: 7 lbs. 4.16 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Metal retains virtually all of its strong bright orig blue & forearm about all of its orig factory finish.
