*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 25-20. SN 934872. Standard grade rifle with 24” rnd bbl, full magazine, uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate. The bbl has a standard front sight with screw and a flat top rear sight. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain about 95% strong bright original blue which have a cleaned area with light pitting on the right side and the forend cap also cleaned on one side. Receiver retains about 90% strong bright original blue on the left side and about 75% on the right side, having flaked away instead from wear. Flaked areas have a light patina. Wood is sound and retains most of its strong bright original varnish with a few minor scratches and a ding on the forearm. All with a light coat of wax. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. 4-51467 JR844 (1,750-2,250)
