HOLLAND AND HOLLAND 12 BORE PARADOX LOADING TOOL SET. SN NSN. Cal. 12 Ga. Exceptionally rare set of tools consists of large brass mold, with pivoting steel sprue plate, and rosewood handled nose pin, hinged brass “fixer”, and T-handled brass “regulator” with steel sizing die, measuring .735. Mold and fixer are stamped “Holland & Holland” “12”, and “Paradox”. Fixer is marked “Fixer”. Regulator is marked “Paradox” and “Regulator”. CONDITION: Very fine as found. Mold is toned to bronze. Interior is smoked. Sprue plate has some oxidation, but most of it is original blue. Nose pin handle has most of its original finish with numerous marks. Steel pin and stop have most of their original bright finish. Fixer is slightly toned, showing original polish marks. Steel hinge pin is still bright. Regulator retains most of its original lacquer on yoke. T-handle retains some lacquer, but is mostly toned. Steel sizer is still bright. 4-40938 MGM145 (3,500-4,500)
