*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 16062. Field grade dbl with 28″ vent rib bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with sgl Bradley red ivory front bead, ejectors & sgl selective trigger. It has step side receiver without decoration. Fitted with professionally replaced very highly figured American walnut wood with checkered beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock, 14-3/8″ over a checkered butt. Accompanied by an orig Winchester Model 21 box without label containing cardboard sleeves. Accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying this shotgun with regular finish & regular grade wood, gage & grade not mentioned. It was completed June 12, 1941 for Mrs. K.S. Millbank with a 13-1/2″ LOP. Drop at the heel: 2-1/2″, drop at the comb: 1-1/2″. Bore restrictions: left – .025, right – .011. Unable to gage wall thickness. Bore diameter: left – .535, right – .540. Weight: 6 lbs. 13.44 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains virtually all of its bright blue finish to the metal that appears to be factory original. Wood is sound & retains virtually all of its fine professional custom finish. Mechanics are crisp with brilliant shiny bores. Box is crisp. 4-55544 JR24 (6,000-10,000)
