*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 WS. SN 509567. Standard grade rifle with 26” rnd bbl, half-nickel front sight with screw, smokeless caliber 32 rear sight. It has uncheckered wood with straight stock and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain 95-97% strong bright original blue with 3 or 4 small spots of surface rust. Receiver retains 94-95% strong bright original blue, with a few spots of pitting on the right side and light edge wear. Two receiver screws are battered. Wood is sound with usual handling & use light nicks & scratches and a series of small nicks on the forearm, otherwise retains most of its original factory varnish. There is a small 3-cornered chip near the toe. Good mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-51498 JR799 (1,750-2,750)
