*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). SN 883382. Standard grade rifle with 24” rnd bbl, full magazine, silver bead front sight, flat top rear sight. It has uncheckered wood with straight stock & crescent steel buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl & magazine tube retain about 98% strong bright original blue. Receiver retains 94-96% strong bright original blue with the missing blue having flaked away, rather than from wear, and is now a light patina.. Lever & hammer retain most of their strong original blue. Wood is sound and retains virtually all of its original factory varnish with a few scattered light bruises and light scratches on the left side of the buttstock.
