*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 CUSTOM GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 30567. Fine custom 21 with 28″ bbls, choked WS-1/WS-2, concave tapered matted rib with Bradley red ivory front bead and silver middle bead. The rib is marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”. It has ejectors and single selective trigger and is built on a scarce flat side receiver. The receiver has light engraving of minimal foliate arabesque patterns with the initials “PAS” in gold on the trigger bow. The water table, standing breech, bbl flats, bbl lugs and bbl faces are nicely jeweled. The buttstock is highly figured English style, 14-5/8″ over a checkered butt and is probably an old replacement. The beavertail forearm with black wedge insert, appears to be original. Bbl restrictions: left .008, right .010. Drop at the heel 2-3/8″, drop at the comb 1-3/8″. CONDITION: Fine, as refinished. Bbls retain 95-96% orig blue, thinning over the chamber areas. Receiver & trigger guard retain most of their bright, restored blue. There is a line of light rust around the rear edge of the receiver reminiscent of salt wood contamination. Wood is sound and retains most of its custom finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. 4-54003 JR17 (3,000-5,000)
