*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 30 WCF SN 931287. Extremely fine, late carbine, 20” bbl, full magazine, square base front sight and 2,000 yard carbine ladder rear sight. It has a stud & ring in left side of the receiver with straight stock & smooth steel carbine buttplate. Accompanied by its original hangtag, identifying this carbine, with the inspector’s initials. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Possibly unfired with the bbl & magazine tube retaining 98-99% strong bright original blue. Receiver retains 93-95% strong bright original blue, with the missing blue having flaked to a light patina, not from wear. Wood is sound and retains virtually all of its brilliant original raised grain finish. Butt plate retains about 90% flaked blue. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-51496 JR790 (2,000-3,000)
