PATENT MODEL: WEIGHING MACHINE BY JOEL F. KEELER. Original patent tag #172,852, dated July 7, 1874. Red tin silo or lighthouse shaped receptacle next to scale device with lead counterweight with dials to register weight, all on original wooden base, which has been mounted to another wooden base. SIZE: 12″ l. x 13″ t. x 9″ w. CONDITION: Tin receptacle has mild dimples and appears to be repainted (possibly missing cover). Scale mechanism is rusted, disallowing movement of dials, otherwise good. 1-1314 (1,000-2,000)
