*WINCHESTER SPECIAL ORDER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 32-40. SN 475634. Beautiful little carbine, 20” rnd bbl, button magazine, German silver blade front sight, in a square base with 2,000 yard ladder carbine sight. There is a stud & ring in the left side of the receiver and it has what appears to be gum wood stocks, uncheckered with straight grip and smooth carbine steel buttplate. There are small proofs of a lion over some initials and the number “32” on the bbl, receiver and bolt. It is believed these are Belgian proofs or possibly Congo. CONDITION: As new, probably unfired. Retains virtually all its bright original factory finish to both metal & wood with only very light handling & storage marks consisting of light scratches and light bruises on the wood and a couple of scratches on the receiver. Retains virtually all its brilliant case colors on the lever & hammer. Butt plate has light heel wear. Brilliant shiny bore. 4-51500 JR776 (3,750-5,000)
