FABULOUS FOURTEEN PIECE HAND PAINTED LIMOGES PUNCHBOWL SET. Green T & V Limoges France mark to base (Tressemann & Vogt Circa 1907-1919). Set consists of a large footed punchbowl, matching stand, ten handled cups and large round under tray. All decorated with berries and leaves with gold trim. A lavishly painted interior of multicolor grapes and leaves against a sky background. Outside has similar decoration. Some glaze cracking. A four-footed raised stand has round insert area. Footed handled cups with berries in different colors surrounding each cup with a gold foot and handle. The large 18” dia tray, again lavishly decorated like the punchbowl. 10” gilt unmarked ladle which may be a later edition. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. SIZE: Footed punchbowl is 6-1/4” h x 14” dia; Stand is 3-1/4” x 11” w. CONDITION: Generally very good, otherwise noted. 9-28761 (800-1200)
