14″ CIRCLE DOT BRU. Desirable cabinet sized French bebe with fabulous bisque, slight mauve shadowing, amber paperweight eyes, original skin wig (not fully removed) and an original French bebe dress. On a kid body (minor wear) with bisque lower arms, which are perfect, her mouth slightly parted with hint of a tongue, typical of a Circle Dot Bru. This young lady has a look of doe-eyed innocence which makes her most appealing. SIZE: 14″ h. CONDITION: Overall condition is excellent with a hint of whiteness to nose. As typical with early dolls such as this, sometimes some light “dustiness” to bisque is present. Minute chip to bisque at earring hole on underside of right ear and a small patch to kid at shoulderplate on arm. 1-8898 JL (12,000-16,000)
