PAIR OF CLASSICAL BRONZE ROBED FIGURES. Late 19th-early 20th century. Depicting a male and a female figure. The first standing before a tree trunk, an animal pelt over his shoulder, knife in hand. The female figure draped in a textured shawl, in front of a stand of cattails. Both mounted on a rouge marble socle, each incised with the numeral “4104” on the bronze plinth. SIZE: Each 13-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: Very good, with golden brown patina. 9-93323 (500-1,000)
