*HEYM OVER UNDER RIFLE WITH SCOPE. SN 46016. Cal. 30-06. Double triggers. 23-5/8″ Barrels have Redfield base mounted on high flat matted rib w/ one standing rear sight, and ramp front w/ longitudinally dovetailed bead. Marked “- Chrom Vanadium -” on left top bbl. Bottom bbl is marked w/ SN “46016”, “AH”, “30.06”, German proofs, and “465”. Rear lump stamped on left side “F. W. Heym Munnerstad” and “Made in Germany” on right. Coin finished trigger plate action w/ double Kirsten bolt has reinforcing bolsters,w/ pin cocking indicators on sides of stock. Action emgraved w/90% coverage of large acanthus scroll w/ running roebuck on left, and bugling stag on right. Bottom of action is stamped “Fr. Wilh. Heym”. Black composition trigger guard is screwed to aluminum trigger plate. “S” is engraved behind top lever w/ red dot visible when safety button is in fire position. Light colored slightly figured European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 13-3/4″ over composition butt plate w/ white spacer and Heym logo, features a hogback comb, shadow line right hand cheek piece, composition grip cap w/ white line spacer, and skip line checkering. One piece forend has Deeley latch and checkering to match buttstock. Weight w/ scope: 8 lbs 3 oz. SCOPE is a Nickel Supra 4X w/ cross hair and post reticle, mounted in Redfield rings. PROVENANCE: Dr. Frank Miller Collection. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 98% blue. Action virtually all its coin finish. Stocks virtually all of their varnish w/ few nicks and scuffs from handling.
