*BROWNING LIGHTNING GRADE I SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 27757S4. Fine long tang, rnd knob Lightning with 28″ vent rib bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with field style rounded forearm and rnd knob stock, 14-1/4″ over a Browning black composition buttplate. It has ejectors and gold single selective trigger. Accompanied by the orig owner’s manual, warranty card & plastic owner’s card in their black envelope and a 1960’s 45-page catalogue. There is also a foam lined plastic case. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbls retain 97-98% strong bright orig blue with a couple of scattered spots of light surface rust on the right side. Receiver retains 97-98% strong bright orig blue with a few scattered spots of light surface rust, a coating of old dried oil and a small line of light surface rust at the top of the standing breech. Wood is sound and retains 97-98% strong bright orig varnish with a few scattered very small, very light nicks & scratches and a pattern of light nicks on the left side panel.
