*SCARCE BROWNING GRADE II BSS SPORTER WITH CASE. SN 03421PY168. Cal. 20ga, 26″ bbls, matted tapered rib with single silver sighting bead, IMP.CYL/MOD chokes, 3″ chambers, ejectors and single selective trigger. Left bbl is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”. Right bbl is marked “B-S/S SPECIAL STEEL 20GA. SHELLS – 2-3/4″ AND 3″. The silver receiver is nicely engraved with foliate scroll, oval with flying duck on left side and flying rooster pheasant on right, with 2 pointers on point on bottom and quail in flight on trigger bow. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered straight grip, Browning hard rubber buttplate, beavertail forend with multi-point checkered side panels. Bore diameter: left -.618, right -.618. Bore restrictions: left -.015, right -.010. Wall thickness: left -.044, right -.046. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb:1-1/2″. Weight: 6lbs. 13oz. LOP 14-1/4”. Accompanied with Browning khaki-colored luggage case with leather trim and dark brown interior. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 98-99% orig blue with a couple minor handling marks. Silver receiver retains all of its orig finish and is bright & clear. Stock is sound with sharp, crisp dry checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains its orig factory oil finish. Forend is sound with sharp, crisp dry checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains its orig factory oil finish. Mechanics are crisp with automatic safety, strong ejectors, bright shiny bores, as gun appears to be test-fired only.
