*FRANZ SODIA OVER UNDER EJECTOR RIFLE WITH EXTRA BARRELS AND CASE. SN 25294. Cal. 30-30, and 410. Double triggers (Front set). 20-1/2″ 30-30 BARRELS have high matted quarter rib w/ one standing, 1 folding rear sight, and longitudinally dovetailed silver bead in matted ramp, are marked “Franz Sodia Ferlach” on left side of top bbl. Bottom bbl has Ferlach nitro proofs, stamped w/ SN “25294”, “Bohler Rasant”, and “.30-30 Win.” 24-1/2″ 410 BARRELS have full length high matted rib w/ same markings as rifle bbls w/ exception of caliber “.410/76.” as well as, importers mark “Champlin Firearms Inc Enid, OK.” Both bbls have forend pieces screwed to side ribs. Scroll back box lock action has dual locking lugs, bushed strikers, and double Kirsten bolt. Action is engraved w/ Germanic scroll and vignettes of American game, a pair of mule deer on left, turkeys on right, and game birds on bottom. Bottom of action is engraved “Franz Sodia Ferlach”. Steel trigger guard has scroll and SN on grip. Dark nicely streaked European walnut full pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8″ over ribbed horn butt plate, w/ shadow line right hand cheek piece, sling eye, horn grip cap, and 30 LPI checkering w/ double line borders. Forend has Deeley release and checkering to match buttstock. Weight: 6 lbs 7oz. Barrel sets weigh the same. Tan leatherite CASE has 3 plated brass locks, and tan, woolly interior. PROVENANCE: Dr. Frank Miller Collection. CONDITION: Near new. Shows little evidence of ever being fired, w/ very few light marks on wood. CASE is good. 4-35652 MGM124 (6,000-10,000)
