*PARKER CHE GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 153908. Built on a No. 2 frame with 30” Acme Steel bbls choked FULL/FULL with tapered concave matted rib, doll’s head rib extension, automatic ejectors & dbl triggers. Mounted with spectacular, orig honey & chocolate, marble cake, carved & checkered French walnut with splinter forearm & straight stock with raised teardrop side panels, 14-1/8” over an engraved, skeleton buttplate with checkered center. Receiver is engraved with typical C-grade patterns with bird dog on each side and a running elk on trigger plate, surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns. Maker’s name is in a ribbon on each side. Will letter as found. Bore diameter: left – .733, right – .732. Bore restrictions: left – .038, right – .039. Wall thickness: left – .033, right – .030. Drop at heel: 2-3/8”, drop at comb: 1-7/16”. Weight: 8 lbs. .64 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 92-93% strong orig blue with some thinning near the muzzles and over forearm area. Small ding on left bbl 3″-4″ down from muzzle.Receiver retains 60-70% thin orig case colors, fading to silver. Wood is sound with usual handling & use marks and a few scattered bruises & scrapes and retains most of its orig varnish finish on buttstock with forearm a hand worn patina. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bores with a small amount of very fine roughness in right side, just above chamber. A really beautiful, well cared for Parker. 4-30570 JR347 (9,000-12,000)
