*BROWNING GRADE P1-G SUPERLIGHT OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN P03RR1492. Very rare, one of only 25 made in this gauge. It has 26-1/2″ bbls choked FULL/MOD with narrow, matted, ventilated rib with single bead, ejectors and single selective trigger. It has extremely beautiful, highly figured, dark walnut wood with schnable tip forearm and straight stock, 14-1/4″ over its orig Browning black composition buttplate. The receiver is French gray with a raised gold flying pheasant in a field scene vignette on the left & right sides. The bottom has very nicely detailed oak leaf & acorn vignettes. The side vignettes are surrounded by oak leaf & acorn patterns with very fine detailed light arabesque patterns. Master engraver “J. Baerten” signs the lower left side of the receiver. A black Browning 2-pc cardboard accompanies it with Styrofoam lining for another shotgun. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus, may have been fired, but if so very little. Retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bores. 4-55022 JR704 (5,500-7,500)
