Double triggers (Front articulated) Non-automatic safety. 24-5/8″ Chopper lump bbls are marked “Jules Bury” and “ARQside A Liege” on bbls either side of full length flat raised file cut rib w/ cross bolt extension, has rocking 2 leaf rear sight and longitudinally dovetailed front w/ silver bead. Bbl flats have Belgian nitro proofs for rifle. Bottoms of bbls are stamped “9.3 x 74.5” and SN “8044”, as well as “B. Blindee” (jacketed bullet). Blue finished action has dual under lugs, Greener cross bolt, and bushed strikers. Action is border engraved. Trigger guard bow has a beautifully relief inlaid two color gold monogram “SL” surmounted by silver crown. “S” is inlaid in gold on top tang. Swan neck figured European walnut buttstock measures 14-3/4″ over plain wood butt w/ drop points, and 20 LPI flat top checkering w/ double line border. Splinter forend has Anson release, and checkering to match buttstock. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs 14oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 85-90% orig blue w/ scattered pin prick pitting, w/ areas of discoloration toward muzzles. Action retains most of orig black. Stocks retain most all of their orig oil finish w/ numerous scrapes and scratches, mostly on right side of butt. Bores are very fine, bright and sharp. Action is tight. Bbls are on face.
