EARLY “IDEAL” CONSOLE VACUUM CLEANER. Two-person operation consisting of elongated base with ribbed foot pad, dome top dirt tank, and long ball top hand pump. One person pumps while the other runs hose (missing) across floor. Original decal states “American Vacuum Cleaner Co., 225 5th Ave., New York.” SIZE: 40” l x 16-1/2” h (not counting pump lever). CONDITION: Significant paint chipping to tank, surface rust, otherwise generally good. Functions, but unknown how effective. AT 9-72144 (100-200)
