JULES STEINER A-13 BEBE. Circa 1890, this gorgeous Bebe Steiner has bisque socket head (marked “A 13 Le Parisien Paris”), large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brush stroke and feathered brows, closed mouth, pierced ears, and blond mohair wig. She is on a fully jointed French composition body with straight wrists and wearing an antique winter costume consisting of black floral print dress, undergarments, embroidered brown wool cape with fur collar and matching fur cap, and brown leather boots with rosettes marked C.M. SIZE: 20″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good with original body finish and a small 1″ tight hairline at top of forehead (covered by wig). 1-8969 APT (2,500-3,000)
