Bbls retain 98% original satin blue, silvered slightly at muzzles, and some marks from contact with forend. Numerous marks are on bottom lump from assembly and dis-assembly. Action retains virtually all its coin finish. Stocks retain most of their finish, thinning at grip, and on left side of butt. There are numerous minor marks from handling and use. Buttplate is a replacement, and not very well fitted. Action is tight. Bbls are on face. Ejectors are in time. Bores are excellent, bright and shiny, with slight frosting in front of chamber in bottom bbl. Case leather is very fine, with a number of scuffs and scrapes. Straps and handle are fine. Interior cloth is somewhat soiled from contact with gun. Label has had owners name and guns SN written on it with a yellow highlighter. Cleaning rod is good. A & S produces approximately 100 of these extremely well crafted guns per year. This particular gun would be great in the field. 4-39547 MGM97 (15,000-30,000)
