*STUNNING A&S SLE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 312. Cal. 12ga. 26-3/4″ bbls. Tapered, concave rib with sgl silver sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, Imp.Mod/Imp.Cyl chokes, ejectors and sgl trigger. Top of left bbl is marked Abbiatico & Salvinelli and bottom of right bbl is importer marked Joe Bojalad-Pittsburgh. Receiver is beautifully game scene engraved with pointer and two flushing chuckers in hilly background on left side and pointer with two flushing grouse with rocky, hilly background on right side and pointer on staunch point on bottom of receiver. Balance is of a fine, foliate arabesque scroll including top tang and long tang trigger guard. Left plate is signed Pedretti. Mounted with highly figured walnut; teardrop drop points; checkered straight grip; checkered butt; checkered, splintered forend with gold A&S crest in center. Bore diameter: left -.731, right -.731. Bore restrictions: left -.025, right -.010. Wall thickness: left -.028, right -.033. Drop at heel: 2-3/16″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 5lbs. 15oz. LOP: 14-3/8″. Gun is accompanied by leather, luggage case, with leather maker’s label inside lid of case with red velour interior, accessories and extra set of mainsprings. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Gun appears near new and test fired only. Bbls are a plum color with dark blue ribs and only a few minor, light scratches and faint rub on bottom from forend. Receiver is bright and clear. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains virtually all of its orig hand rubbed oil finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering and a few minor handling marks and retains its orig oil finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety, strong ejectors and shiny new bores.
