HANDEL OVERLAY DESK LAMP. Nice Handel desk lamp has harp base with four leaf clover shaped foot and vertically ribbed stem. The harp supports a wonderful Arts & Crafts metal overlay shade with six panels. Each panel is decorated with a stylized Arts & Crafts metal overlay flower, stems and leaves against a carmel slag background. The flowers are enameled in green against a red enamel background. Base is signed on the side of the foot with impressed block letters “Handel”. Shade is signed on inside of fitter with applied tag “Handel”. SIZE: Lamp is 19″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Virginia collection. CONDITION: Shade has possible old solder repair and one glass panel with small tight hairline. Base has wear and discoloration to patina. 5-60337 (800-1,200)
