ALASKAN INUIT STONE CARVING OF A HAWK ON IT’S PREY. Depicting a hawk with open beak over its dead prey within its talons, carved on a natural stone plinth. The underside marked illegibly, but with paper Canadian Eskimo art label, serial number and “Jack”. PROVENANCE: Fine private Long Island, New York mansion. SIZE: 10-1/4”h x 6”w x 9-1/4”d.
