Cal. 28ga, 26-1/2″ bbls, matted vent rib with dual white sighting beads, SKEET/SKEET choke, 2-3/4″ chambers, ejectors and single selective trigger. Left side of bbl is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN BELGIUM”. Right side “BROWNING SUPERPOSED / SPECIAL STEEL 28GA. SHELLS – 2-3/4″ / BROWNING PATENTS”. Grade 1 receiver with open leafy scroll and marked on bottom “LIGHTNING / BROWNING / BUST OF JOHN BROWNING”. Mounted with lightly figured walnut, checkered pistol grip with long tang trigger guard, black Old English solid pad, checkered beavertail skeet forend. Bore diameter: top -.545, bottom -.545. Bore restrictions: top -.003, bottom -.002. Wall thickness: top -.043, bottom -.041. Drop at heel: 1-7/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7lbs. 10oz. LOP 14-1/4″. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 97-98% orig blue with just a few normal minor nicks & scratches and typical rub mark from forend. Receiver retains 97-98% orig blue with some fine thinning on sharp edges and typical minor scratches. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains a Browning sprayed-on finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a couple minor handling marks and retains a Browning sprayed-on finish. This gun may be a complete factory restoration but it appears new with top lever well right of center.
