RUDOLSTADT PAINTED GARNITURE VASE. Circa 1900. This fine example of flattened cylindrical form, polychrome-painted overall with a large floral spray, the pierced gilt-decorated handles of interwoven oak leaves, raised on a base of C-scrolls. The whole in typical matte finish. Marked with a crown and diamond centering “RW” beneath “GERMANY” and above “RUDOLSTADT”. Also with the incised numeral 6097. SIZE: 17-1/4″ h. PROVENANCE: From an extensive private Gulf Coast collection. CONDITION: Very good overall. No restoration noted. 9-93302 (500-1,000)
