HANDEL SUNSET PALM LANTERN. Outstanding Handel six paneled lantern has metal overlay palm tree design against panels of sunset glass. Sunset panels are trimmed at top and bottom with a geometric openwork metal design backed by green slag glass. Bottom of lantern comes to a point and features openwork shield design against green slag glass. Lantern is signed with an applied tag on the inside of the lip beneath the detachable heat cap and hook. The cap, hook and socket are modern replacements. This is the lantern only. There is no chain or ceiling cap present. The lantern is accompanied by a letter of authentication from Paul Crist Studios. SIZE: 19″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some very minor wear to patina. 5-60506 (4,000-6,000)
