The poled salmon medallion with central blue-gray floral device on a blue-black field with citron yellow spandrels, all with dense floral polychrome devices. SIZE: 5’2″ x 3’5″. PROVENANCE: From an East Sangerville, Maine private collection, by descent from Dr. Samuel Cox Hooker (1864, Brenchley England -1935, Brooklyn Heights, New York), a sugar chemist, magician, and art collector, to the present owner, a great-grand-daughter.
