Cal. 28 ga. 26-3/8″ bbls, filed ventilated rib, sgl brass sighting bead, Mobile chokes, 2-3/4″ chambers, ejectors and sgl selective trigger. Left side of top bbl is marked “28 GA. 2-3/4″-26-1/2″ IN. P.BERETTA- MADE IN ITALY” right side “BERETTA U.S.A. CORP ACKK. MD WARNING-READ INSTRUCTION FOR SAFE OPERATION./BOOK FREE FROM BERETTA”. The side plated box lock receiver is foliate scroll engraved with shaded background, ribbon with “P. BERETTA” on each side. Left side plate is engraved with forested scene and 2 woodcock in flight, right plate field scene with 4 Bobwhite quail in flight, center of bottom marked “BERETTA/GALLERY”. Right side of trigger plate is marked “BOTTEGA C. GIOVANELLI”. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered pistol grip, leather covered recoil pad, blank gold oval, schnabel forend with checkered side panels. Bore dimensions are not available for 28 gauge. Drop at heel: 2-5/16″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 6lbs 4oz. LOP 14″. Gun is accompanied with a brown leather Gucci carrying case. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 99% of their orig factory blue with some minor handling marks and faint rub line from forend. Receiver remains crisp and bright with its factory silver finish. Stock is sound with good checkering, a few minor nicks & scrapes and retains its fine orig oil finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering a few minor nicks & dings, retianing its orig oil finish. Mechanics are crisp with auto-safety, strong ejectors and bright shiny bores. Gun comes with only 2 chokes, skeet & improved cylinder, and wrench.
