GERALD LYDON MERFELD (American, 1936-) “WINTER”. Oil on canvas winter scene shows a large Victorian house with wrap around porch in the midst of a snowy winter. A figure is in the doorway greeting a boy pulling a sled with another child. Signed lower left “Merfeld”. Titled and signed on reverse and numbered “37-72″. Housed in a carved wood frame with linen and gold liner. SIZE: 20″ x 24”. PROVENANCE: Collection of Elwyn Dearborn, Medford, NJ & Portland, ME. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96275 (400-800)
